Re: Live Discussion Thread: I Wanna Rock & Roll All Knight
you can't tell me that you are happy with the show :dash: I am happy with this show. I love this show more and more every week. And in someways, i really like this incarnation more than the original. All my friends now know me as the Knight Rider-Guy. And I even turned one of my friends, who really...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: I Wanna Rock & Roll All Knight
My only point is, budget is not an excuse for their lack of chase scenes. Considering that NBC ponies up roughly $3 million per episode, and that NBC-Universal has recently issued a $500 million dollar cut in its overall annual budget, budget is everything, including stunts that can be resolved usi...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: I Wanna Rock & Roll All Knight
The latest episode wasn't as awful as the Halloween/KARR one, that's true, but that's like saying urine on your shoes is better then crap on your shoes. Or that choking to death is better then burning to death. That quote came from a user on IMDb.com, and pretty much left me nodding my head after h...

Re: The Reason why Knight Rider Endures: NBC is Happy with Ben
See...the problem I have with Graiman leaving with his high salary, is that Hasselhoff would command a much higher salary than Bruce Davison I would imagine. It's a tough call agreeing with that. Bruce Davison has been in more successful films than the Hoff, but the Hoff had Baywatch, and that was ...

Re: Nielson Ratings for "I Wanna Rock & Roll All Knight"
NBC has been on a warpath lately, folks, and their kneejerk reactions to getting their butts kicked by CBS and ABC are showing big-time. NBC just axed "My Own Worst Enemy" (after only 9 episodes) and "Lipstick Jungle" (after only being in its 2nd season), and Entertainment Weekly...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: Knight of the Living Dead
Is it really so hard to think Dr. Graiman isn't above repeating the mistakes of the past? Bruce Davison is a great actor, and I think it does him more justice to play a character who is not just another stereotypical sci-fi supergenius, but a flawed supergenius who makes the mistake of thinking age...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: Knight of the Living Dead
If KR08 "isn't your father's Knight Rider", then just by that token alone, I'm all for saying that this new KARR is not the old one. The fierce opposition around here to that idea is baffling. A new KARR for a new generation, just like a new vehicle sponsor (Ford), a new method of operatio...

Re: Episode 12: 'Knight to King's Rook' Spoilers
I just caught up with "Knight of the Living Dead" on hulu yesterday, and I gotta say...KARR's schematics make him look like a freaking Metal Gear (a videogame franchise if you're not familiar with the name). Not sure I'm crazy about that given how much I liked the KITT vs KARR premise from...
