Re: A Ray of Light Amongst the Darkness

Matthew wrote:According to the Sci Fi UK website, episode 1 of the Knight Rider 2008 series was watched by over 700,000 people, a whopping 35% more than the backdoor pilot managed last week.
That's really good, the new Battlestar Galactica was only watched by about 320,000 on Sky 1.

Re: Knight Rider News - NBC Announces Their 2009-2010 Line-up

Not a surprise. The signs were their in 100ft-high fiery letters for all to see. I thought the show started off well, took a major dive in quality and then recovered to be the show it was always meant to be before GST fiddled with it. I'll miss watching it with my nephew who loved it. Good luck to t...

The Batman film from 1989 was in development hell for 10 years before it was released, unfortunately for GAL he's 72 (I think), so I'd think he doesn't want to be in development hell for five years, let alone 10! Re: Knight Rider News - NBC Announces Their 2009-2010 Line-up

Lets say KR doesnt get picked up for renewal and the shows ratings go through the roof over here in the UK (crazier things have happened!). Your telling me that the 'powers that be' wont re commission the show? LMAO! Yes, the ratings are really going to go through the roof on the UK Sci Fi Channel....

Re: What Glen A. Larson Means to Me...

I think Glen in America gets a bad wrap. but I think over here in the UK and the rest of Europe, his shows are looked on more fondly. With Glen, you knew you were getting a good looking show show that had all it's budget up on the screen. There'd be action and adventure and laughs, memorable leads a...

Re: Knight Rider might have been cancelled: two sources

Well there's no way to win with you guys. If they put KR in a friday/saturday night time slot you would be arguing that no one was watching it b/c those nights suck for tv. NBC puts it on a Wed. night slot and surprisingly does not move it at all during its entire run, thereby giving it a great opp...

Re: Knight Rider might have been cancelled: two sources

The show's cancelled. Period.

In the end it didn't perform well enough and if having it's full season order cut isn't a big fat sign saying it's cancelled, then people are just sticking their heads in the sand.

Re: Ratings for "Fly By Knight"

The way Nielsen calculates the ratings is a proven statistical formula that works. The advertisers know it works, that's why it's still the standard for advertisers to see how many people are watching the spots they've paid for during the run of a show. Nielsen can also calculate how many people wat...

So was Charles shot or wasn't he, or for that matter, the real Zoe?

Why did Fake Zoe leave them alive and how could she miss them from such short range?

Nah, the backdoor pilot intro was lame. I like the style of the original series, especially because all the scenes are from KITT's point of view. And what is possible with shots from just 4 episodes shows this fanmade intro. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wM5I6g9Fxdc" onclick="window.open...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: Knight of the Hunter

The show is getting better. Sorry, I could tell the truck flip was CG, but the VFX on the whole are very good, though not yet excellent. Liked the classic style riding the hood and jump to another vehicle. The Wonder Twin moments were pretty funny too but two cast members were missing – a sure sign ...

This was the best episode yet. They upped the jeopardy, moved the relationship on, KITT got some great lines and Justin was really good in it.

Loved the grappling hook but what happened to the old microwave jammer? That would have stopped the van dead.

Re: Live Discussion Thread: Knight of the Iguana

Wow, the actress who plays Zoe has more chemistry with Justin than Deanna. I'm kind of getting fed up with Sarah driving the car. I blame this on the neutering of the male action-hero that took place in the 90s. I thought it was one man can make a difference, not his ex-girlfriend and anyone else wh...
