Re: Been thinking about KR08 Lately and....

The Hoff has always said he played it straight as if he was never in on the joke of a talking car that could do all of those fantastic things. The new KR didn't do it that way from the start. The entire show was campy. Even one of the heavy/baddies in the two parter during the season was cracking jo...

Re: KI3T crash

First things first, I hope you're getting all patched up and back to normal. Nothing like personal injury to set you back. Now, please correct me if I'm wrong here, Taoworm, but it sounds to me like an airbag and seatbelt that were functioning properly would have prevented your injuries. The police ...

Re: KITT on Conan well sort of...

I managed to see the show. but what I saw gave a lot of questions: - why use the name Gabrial??? KR rights belongs to NBC, so why not use the same name, KITT?? - why doing it now?? after the show is done??? do the mean something??? do they want to give some kind of hint??? or its just something fun...

Re: Self driving GTI with real scanner

So KITT was still more technologically advanced. KITT, going off of this real-world tech, had eight independent scanning modules that worked in synchronization with each other to fully scan the area around him. So the swoosh effect of KITT was acheived by each scanning "module" taking a re...

Re: KITT on Conan well sort of...

Well that was pretty funny. They incorporated the light show into the set perfectly. If it's funny enough, Conan will do more of these bits with the same set-up etc. He's the only talk show host with a talking set. Pretty ingenious really, being that the stage he's on at Universal is where Knight Ri...

Re: Something I just throught of

Most shows have a bible that they operate under and every writer must stay within those confines, however strict or loose they are. What I want to know is if the show has a bible and how does it tie into the original series. Many things said and done in the episodes seem to contradict KR history, ye...

Re: Live Discussion - Exit Light, Enter Knight

This episode was very good. It felt like NBC's version of "24" for one episode. With a talking car. It was good writing. By the way, he didn't have his earwig with him, hence incommunicato with KITT. Wouldn't you try to communicate with a superintelligent muscle car that just might save yo...

Re: Episode Order After Tonight is CHANGED

This show like most others has some elements of a serial nature even thought it is episodic. The characters usually grow and dialogue is extrapolated to include references to past stuff, etc. Perhaps with the reboot, they decided to really make it more episodic where, say, episode 15 didn't referenc...

If they want to have KI2T in the show, they can do it. There is nothing stopping them except a creative idea to do it properly. They don't need anyone's permission.

So i guess this means the show is not getting renewed for another year? What else can soon-to-depart mean?

Well, at least Justin and Deanna and the rest of the gang have a decent resume enhancer.

Re: Live Discussion - Knight to King's Pawn

This episode was fantastic. It had it's emotional stuff at the beginning. Sarah was mourning. They had to show this. Mike was being supportive and ending up being with her. He does love her as she loves him. In episodic television, be VERY grateful for the KITT vs. KARR battle that we got, because i...

Re: The new turbo boosts

Since they jump one of the actual actual cars for filming landings, then I propose an idea. The old show jumped some cars from a ramp to a bare ground. This destroyed the cars in most cases, especially the high and fast jumps. They also used a take-off ramp and a landing ramp for some smaller jumps ...

Re: Guessing at a spoiler for season's last episode

Perhaps at the end of the episode, Charles Graiman is revealed and he did not die as previously believed, the reason being it was somehow safer for Sarah, Mike, KITT, etc. that they believed he was dead, to help protect a greater secret of FLAG, only to reappear at the right time when the dust sett...

Re: lets get the word out about knight rider

When it comes to Knight Rider, NBC is it's Own Worst Enemy. Pun intended. And we know how that worked out. NBC is in charge of advertising and hyping the show. Not us. I'm sorry to feel so cynical, but 30 seconds of on-air ad time for their own show can do more for their own distributed product than...

Re: Episode 12: 'Knight to King's Rook' Spoilers

Programming, going right down to the nuts and bolts of it, is all 1's and zeros. So, given that logic, KARR could be downloaded into the computer that houses KITT. It could be like a virus that slowly takes over, or just, BAM, it's done, download complete, let's go destroy something. After all, my n...

If anyone is gonna call it the KITT Cave, it's Billy. He plays a tech geek, and he would be the one to have a nick name for it.

If he said it in an aired episode, it was intentional. Maybe it's a Billy-Zoe thing.

Re: Overnight Nielsons for Knight of the Iguana

I too am thinking 9 PM may be a good move during November sweeps, but they won't move it unless they are really desperate to get ratings up. It would be up against Private Practice, Criminal Minds, Til Death, and 90210.
