Re: An Interesting Development

...Since we know that Paul has gone off and shot that No Heroics pilot, it might make sense to assume that Deanna and Smith also went to look for other work as well, while still being "retained" if a 2nd season happens... I saw Smith Cho in a few commercials for an investment company. Fid...

Re: Filming location: The Bridge

I believe the bottom hangar is the one they use. It is much closer to the street so it'd be easier to access. The one exception might be the long distance shot they used in "Knight to King's Pawn" (when Billy, Zoe, and Mike were trying to break back into the abandoned SSC through a secret ...

My hope is that F&F's success this weekend does NOT lead to more T&A, ricer cars, and stupid episode plots in KR's Season Two.

TV By The Numbers for 4/1: What do they mean?

I didn't see a post about last night's Nielsons or TVBTNs, so I thought I'd at least post a link up: http://tvbythenumbers.com/2009/04/02/wednesday-ratings-american-idol-and-lost-lead-night/15780#more-15780 Since Chopping Block got chopped, NBC is running a rerun of Law and Order: CI in the 8pm hour...

Re: WHEN season 2 arrives...

One of my favorite devices installed in KI2T was the Ejector seats. KITT and Michael would use them not only as a catapult to help infiltrate buildings, but also as a means of rescue when Michael falls from a great height. Obviously we can't do this specific stunt anymore, since T-Tops are no longer...

Re: Ford Motor Company to auction GT500KR “Knight Rider”

::sigh:: The auction is for the pilot movie GT500KR, which is almost a year old; that car was already sold. Nothing in the article about the season 1 cars being up for sale. And ::sigh:: again...KR is still on NBC's website under shows and videos. I bet they're just tired of us sending in letters an...

Re: Soemthing that peeves me

I don't really care, and in fact think the switch to an auto is the sign of advancing technology. KI2T was an automatic as well. Even in the car industry today, automatic transmissions are add-on items, and have a monetary charge to reflect it. Sure the manual transmission would have been a nice bon...

Re: We've interviewed Deanna Russo again!

so i gather from that interview that no one from the cast ever sees Val Kilmer or hears his voice during recording? thats so weird they actually have another guy that handles the KITT dialogue and then when we see the show we hear Vals voice instead. i got it from these quotes. I'm guessing that it...

Re: get rid of stupid transforming this isnt transformers

Sorry, but I completely disagree with the thread creator.

Please KEEP the transformations, but only use them as the plot deems necessary (A Hard Day's Knight, Fight Knight). I'd only complain if KITT started changing into non-car objects (THEN it would be a rip-off of Transformers).

Re: If Attack Mode was called Pursuit Mode...

Michael Long was a Cop, so Pursuit mode as a name made sense. Mike Traceur was in the Military. Pursuit mode wouldn't fit as a name. The most appropriate name for KI3T's new transformation would either be "Transform" or "Hi-Speed" mode. The former has lawsuit written all over it ...

I'm hoping and praying that you guys are right...that the KITT vs. KARR battle was actually a much longer fight, that got cut down due to time constraints. Is anyone with me in asking for the director's cut of "Knight to King's Pawn" on the DVD release? Heck, I'll take the director's cut o...

Re: When we start campaigning NBC to Save KR

Here's another factoid to add to the mix. It will require some research, though. I read this page , and realized NBC has 3 entries under the "Live Action TV" subcategory. Could someone here (I don't have access to such resources) look up the numbers on some of the shows referenced, and see...

Re: Could Devon Return?

Even factoring for Edward Mulhare's passing, the time skip between KR (1982) and KR (2008) would easily put Devon Miles, the character, in his late 80's or 90's. Unless the KR Writers wanted to take liberties with character ages, they'd have a very hard time writing Devon's character into the presen...

Re: Huge letdown about Peter Cullen voiceover

If you go back and watch Trust Doesn't Rust, listen to KARR's voice. It does sound near identical to his Optimus Prime. The difference comes in the characterization. KARR sounds robotic (not just in tone, but in vocabulary), immature, and selfish. Optimus Prime is the freaking Messiah . Unless one o...

I strongly advise NOT to publicly give out the login info for that profile (since this board is readable by non-members). Re: Knight Rider Season Reduced - from 22 to 17

I think/hope you guys are jumping the gun. Aren't we forgetting something? Ford, who is KR's financial backbone (no, NBC is not, or we'd be seeing peacocks all over the SSC) is in financial trouble right now. I'd like to think that they need to cut funding somewhere to stay afloat, and sponsorships...

Re: Does KI3T need a mobile command center?

I honestly don't see why you can't have both...er...all 3 bases (Cave, Plane, Semi) in the series. This is a pure guess; feel free to criticize me or chime in: The main reason KR2008 hasn't used a Semi for a mobile command center was size. Cars nowadays are wider than cars were back in the '80s. May...

Re: The Knight Rider 2008 Positive Feedback Thread

- I LOVE the transformation ability on KI3T. It brings a brand new dimension to missions, and compared to TOS, allows KI3T to be more involved in a hands-on fashion. Remember that in TOS, unless it was transporting MK Sr., rescuing MK Sr., or chasing the bad guys, KI2T's role was basically informati...
