Showtime does not have a great record lately with sci-fi either. They used to when they started their sci-friday, but as they phased that out several shows got cancelled too early with Odyssey 5 being the worst once since they never got to finish the story.

That is a good point. With Tiki barber in this week's episode and it being Super Bowl week I bet there is a good chance there is a Super Bowl commercial, but one that focuses on the TikI Barber aspect.

Those numbers look very encouraging especially the demographics. And with the strike shortening the pilot season there are going to be much fewer shows then normal trying to get on the fall schedule. I think KR has a good chance. Put it on Monday with Chuck and Heroes.

There is only so much mythology they wanted to put into a new series. It needs to stand on its own. This KITT and the other KITT are different - so it's possible he wasn't programed to know that information. No one is saying he doesn't know that stuff - it just was alot of mythos to fit into a 2 hr...

There are some things that I would like to hear more about in regards to what all happened in the 26 years since the original series. What happened to the Foundation, why some of the changes on the car, etc. The movie wasn't the time to do that because that would have been boring to add all that in....
